Visual Arts and Ceramics Teacher:
Lee Ann is a NC-certified Art Teacher. She taught at the Community School of Davidson – High School in Davidson, NC, for 10 years. Her fine art classes included Photography, Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media, Ceramics (wheel and hand building) and Creative Expression. Prior to CSD, she led creativity and painting classes and pottery workshops at the Cornelius Art Center and Mooresville Arts for adults. She also worked in the Education Center at the Mint Museum and as a Graduate Assistant for the Art Department at Winthrop University.

Lee Ann is a co-founder and member of the Living with Purpose Mentoring Collective and a current student of the program. She specializes in “possibilities;” really listening to clients and hearing the “in-between” messages; self-worth; self-expression; goal-setting; validation; navigating LGBTQ+-specific issues; developing trust and authentic relationships; and offers a non-judgmental confidante role who believes in her clients.
Lee Ann has helped hundreds of students and individuals pursue a career and life path in the arts. Her support includes helping her clients develop artist statements, create strong art for scholarships/colleges/art positions; edit essays; pursue a cohesive body of work; curate a strong portfolio; and mobilize themselves with the confidence to pursue their dreams and goals. Her students have won numerous awards and scholarships in their educational journeys. In addition, she is incredibly proud the many successful careers which include roles such as lead photographer, film director, studio owners, tattoo artist, fine arts instructor, gallery director, potters, and visual artists.
